Unity has decided to not use Ippity Chicks to sell Ippity any longer, so once the stamps are marked "OUT OF STOCK", I won't be able to restock them. Thank you for your interest and purchases!!

Happy Friday to you and welcome to Friends with Flair showcasing Unity and Ippity stamps!

Yea for a long weekend here in the US with the Columbus Day holiday on Monday!

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends!

My card to share with you this week is full of layers and heat embossing. The background uses the beautiful diamond border stamp found in the August 2010 Unity Kit of the Month. Since it’s a mostly solid stamp with just a little distressing, heat embossing gives a nice image to show off! The chandelier, crest circle and sentiment are all from the Ippity Regal Greetings set – LOVE that set! Since I’m an Ippity Chick, I just happen to have it in stock if you need me to ship it out to you!

For the embossing, I used P K Glitz’ E P Max which is SUPER embossing powder packed with matching colored glitter for a MAX effect. Black and Lemonade worked perfectly for this card!

You ready? Here it is! Click on the image for a bigger view.

World Card Making Day was this past Saturday, October 2nd. I did stamp and had fun indexing my Ippity Stamps! There are so many great images that I was inspired to do some cards with those stamps combined with Unity images that I hadn’t used yet. Yes, I do have rubber that I haven’t inked! Tragic I know, but that’s the way it is when you work full time and have limited hours for the fun stuff. 🙂

With World Card Making Day comes many online sites having challenges and contests. Splitcoast Stampers (SCS) Unity/Ippity forum was hopping with challenges and inspiration galore! Another site was Ellen Hutson’s blog where she was also offering challenges with prizes. I took advantage with these two cards to hit some of those challenges. Hope you like them!
