Happy Monday hoppers! Happy President’s Day! I have today off from work, yippee!

Take a peek at the card that I have for you today. Pretty simple, but oh so fun to make! I accented the leaves with a white gel pen – love that way it came out! I also used colors inspired by this week’s Play Date Cafe’s Challenge.

I’m finishing up some of the challenges at Split Coast Stampers for the Hope You Can Cling To Event and came up with this card for one of them. I love this image from the November 2009 Unity Kit of the Month! This week’s Card Positioning Systems Sketch really worked well for it too. The Ippity word stamps were terrific for the top border.

Take a look!

Hello blog readers! Happy happy Friday!

You WON’T BELIEVE the awesome new IPPITY sets coming out! Set your calendars for the 18th and they will be revealed and for sale!!

Now onto this week’s FWF!

I have a vintage card for you using some “vintage-y” BasicGrey! Remember Stella Ruby? Well here it is on this card!! I thought it was perfect for the theme and colors on the card. I was working with the Embellish Magazine’s challenge criteria of Olive Green, Rust and Mustard in a vintage theme.

The dress form is a Unity stamp and the sentiment is from Ippity. Take a look!

Happy Friday to you and welcome to Friends with Flair showcasing Unity and Ippity stamps!

Yea for a long weekend here in the US with the Columbus Day holiday on Monday!

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends!

My card to share with you this week is full of layers and heat embossing. The background uses the beautiful diamond border stamp found in the August 2010 Unity Kit of the Month. Since it’s a mostly solid stamp with just a little distressing, heat embossing gives a nice image to show off! The chandelier, crest circle and sentiment are all from the Ippity Regal Greetings set – LOVE that set! Since I’m an Ippity Chick, I just happen to have it in stock if you need me to ship it out to you!

For the embossing, I used P K Glitz’ E P Max which is SUPER embossing powder packed with matching colored glitter for a MAX effect. Black and Lemonade worked perfectly for this card!

You ready? Here it is! Click on the image for a bigger view.
