This month features the wonderful artistry of Tracey Malnofski this month with 2 kits and 3 Ippity Itty Bitties!
I don’t have them in stock yet, so you can go to the Unity Store site and use me as your Ippity Chick, Andrea Cloutier.
For some inspiration, here’s a fun project using IPK-152, Make Your Mark, Clean & Simple Sketches FTL-180 AND the Play Date Cafe Challenge #121.
I’ve had a lot of help from friends lately, so this card goes out to all of you! I loved using the Thankful for You set with the wonderful Play Date Cafe color challenge PDCC119 colors this week. So pretty!
Thanks for stopping by today! This card was created using the Chick Challenge sketch CC18
Oh yes, the new Ippity release certainly is that…sweet! This new set called “New Season, New Wonder” has 6 pre-cut stamps, all in a fruit theme. The images have a distressed look with shadows in the realistic fruit shapes. Words hide in the shadows making the design look layered without any fancy techniques!
I’ve used the cherries for this card along with this week’s Mojo Monday sketch and Play Date Cafe’s color combo. I’ve managed to meet the Unity Tooty Fruity Challenge too! The Fruity challenge has another week to go, so pick up your set today and you’ll still have time to create something!
Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, IPK-148 New Season, New Wonder
Ranger ink & embossing powder
Spellbinders dies
My Mind’s Eye paper
Ribbon
Mojo Monday 194 sketch
Play Date Cafe Challenge 84
Since I’m a Unity Endorsed Ippity Chick, come on by the online shopping page to order the set you see today or any other Ippity set that strikes your fancy.
Guess what? NO shipping charges (US only, $5 for international) through the weekend since I’m featured on the Unity blog Wednesday! Woohoo!
Hello to Monday and this week’s hippity hoppers!
Have you ever layered ink colors on a card? It’s a neat technique that gives depth to your stamped images. You can stamp in a light and dark tone, 2 lights, 2 darks or even more than 2 ink colors! The possibilities are pretty open.
Think of all the colors that are in patterned papers today – like I have in my sample below. There are 3 colors: light blue, red and pink. I used 2 similar ink colors when stamping, one light and one dark. If you’re using this combination, the lighter color can be used as a shadow color, background or just as an accent. Open your mind, it really is fun and gets you using more ink pads that you may otherwise have sitting around!
Ranger has a great color strategy in their Adirondack colors. There are lights, brights and earth tones which all complement each other, especially if you want to stay with monochromatics. Fun indeed!

Welcome Monday, I think.
Today’s card is a very versatile card that can use lots of different stamps and keep the basic design.
The main image is stamped and heat embossed in clear, then inked over the embossing powder and wiped clean. It’s a resist technique that gives a great result.
Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, IPK-111 Regal Greetings
Ranger embossing ink and powder
Tsukineko Encore metallic ink
Ribbon and beads
CPS sketch 211
