Howdy Hoppers, welcome to Monday!

I’ve got a multi-challenged meeting card for you today! It’s a great everyday card that’s simple and easy to reproduce if needed. I used only Ippity Stamps – one of the sets that I really like, Now & Always.

I used this week’s color challenge from PDCC – black, white and lilac. The sketch is from Clean & Simple. I also met the last Ippity Twist Challenge to use brads!

Take a peek and I hope you enjoy it!

Hey, this is the last Hippity Hop for 2010!! Thanks for coming by to see it!!

I’ve got a tall card for you today! I missed this CPS sketch when it came out, so I took this opportunity to use it this week! Also, the Play Date Cafe had a great color combo that I really wanted to try out. 🙂

I made my own background paper then distressed the edges with a neutral beige ink. I then went back over the pattern and colored in the centers on the background paper using the dye ink pad and a water brush. Basically, take the water brush and touch it to the ink pad. Ink will transfer to the moist brush which then can be used to paint whatever you want to on the stamped design.

I also spritzed the large flower with a Pearlized Mist that I created myself. See my custom recipes at this post. Click the picture for a larger version.

I just love this set from Ippity, Now & Always! The variety of how you can use it is amazing.

For this card, I’ve heat embossed the solid image in pink to serve as the base of the design. I then heat embossed the outline smaller flower image in red on top of the pink image. Did you know that you can layer your heat embossed images on the same design? YES! You can. 🙂 The most important things to remember are to ensure your first image has cooled enough so that the 2nd image’s EP won’t stick to 1st image AND have a hot heat tool. If you dwell too much over the images, they’ll blend colors instead of remaining independent. Your images will get blurred a bit too. (How do you think I know this? LOL)

The background brown flower is cut from felt. The center brad was heat embossed too with the pink EP so that it all matched.

Hello Ippity lovers! It’s good to be back into the swing of H{ippity} Hops! I’ve been doing some blog updating, so I hope you like the changes.

The card that I have for you today is a collaged card full of details and things to look at. The patterned paper is from an older BasicGrey collection called Obscure. It has a lot of patterns layered with a lot of color. I’ve used images from 2 different Ippity sets. Can you see them? Remember to click on the image to get a better view.

This card is also for a couple challenges from World Card Making Day. Have a great Monday!
