Hop from blog to blog to see the beautiful art made with these wonderful stamps. I used one Ippity stamp in my card today from the Devoted Set. It’s such a pretty heart with swirls in it. Check the background behind the glittered “girl” word and the embossed yellow heart popped above the right foot. Both places are using the same stamp! I love the versatility of not only this set, but of these stamps!

Have a great Friday!

I just got the new Life Stories Collection from My Mind’s Eye and wow, what great paper! The foundation is all kraft with weathered tones of days gone by. So beautiful!

A simple card came to mind, nothing fancy just more classy.

How’d I do it?

  1. Stamp leafy stem from the Devoted set, then cut into 3 equal parts. Ink the edges.
  2. Adhere the 3 parts, in order, to the card front.
  3. Stamp the frame and sentiment from the Just Wanted to Say set. Trim out and ink the edges.
  4. Adhere frame with foam squares over the paneled section.

See? I told you it was quick and simple!

Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, Devoted and Just Wanted To Say sets
Clearsnap Colorbox Chalk Ink
My Mind’s Eye patterned papers

I’m working on some 6×6 recipe page swaps – great to make a mini album in just a few short months! You never know when you could use a Shower gift or Holiday gift! This page is pretty straight forward and I can’t wait to make it!

How’d I do it?

  1. Print out recipe and trim to size. Adhere to lower right side of page.
  2. Stamp snowflakes from Kissmas & Mistletoe set with Versamark ink down the left side of the page.
  3. Stamp “JAN” using letters from the Alphabetically Adorable set with embossing ink, sprinkle on glitter embossing powder, shake off excess and heat to melt.
  4. Stamp “JAN” again, but a little offset from the original stamping, this time using Pink embossing powder. Heat to emboss.
  5. Stamp the house from the Devoted set with embossing ink on a scrap of cardstock. Take a pinch of Magenta embossing powder and sprinkle over the hearts in the chimney and door. Shake off excess – do not heat yet!
  6. Sprinkle Blue embossing powder over the rest of the image, shake off excess and heat to melt the whole image.
  7. Add strip of ribbon over the left side, attach with Mini Fastener. Tie a bow in ribbon scrap and add to the strip with a pop dot.
  8. Trim embossed house out, add foam tape to the back and adhere over the ribbon strip. Done!
