Happy Friday and happy LONG weekend! Completely enjoy your extra day off Monday if you have it. I do, yea!
Since Monday is Memorial Day, I wanted to do a rather patriotic card using red, white and blue colors. I’ve had this Daisy D’s paper for quite some time and really like the colors and collaged patterns which happen to be perfect for this card.
The stamping part is quite simple. I used chalk ink for the image since it matched the paper so well. Lots of layers everywhere else using the sketch from this week’s Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge.

Thank you to all of those who currently serve and have served in the military fighting to maintain our freedom. Have a great weekend!
Need a little happiness on a Monday? Since the Hippity Hops have stopped for now, I feel a little adrift, don’t you?
To help with the loss (LOL), I will do my best to keep up the trend with samples for you using Ippity Stamps of course!
This card was actually to meet a challenge this past weekend at Virtual Stamp Night on Splitcoaststampers. I used beachy colors and met the Card Positioning System’s sketch for last week too. I love combining challenges! The 6 piece Party Hat Wishes set made this card really festive!
Some of the details on this quick card was to accent the stamped image with Stickles glitter glue. It is so easy to add some for a little extra ‘zip’ when a card needs it. What is a birthday without some glitter right?
Supplies:

Welcome Monday, I think.
Today’s card is a very versatile card that can use lots of different stamps and keep the basic design.
The main image is stamped and heat embossed in clear, then inked over the embossing powder and wiped clean. It’s a resist technique that gives a great result.
Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, IPK-111 Regal Greetings
Ranger embossing ink and powder
Tsukineko Encore metallic ink
Ribbon and beads

Happy Valentine’s Day!
It’s a great Monday because I’m OFF from work, yea!
I’d like to share the card that I’m giving my DB today. I used the colors from the Ippity Twist Challenge for week 2: red, black, white and aqua.
The set I used this week is called IPK-115 Love in Return. Perfect for Valentine’s Day right? There are 12 red rubber cling mounted stamps included in the set and can be found here.
