Howdy Hoppers! So glad you made it to my blog today!
Happy New Year!
Layering was the name of the game when making this card. This week’s Mojo Monday sketch was terrific for this image and sentiment. Gotta love that kiwi, kraft and black color combo!
The main house image was from the January 2009 Kit of the Month at Unity Stamps. The image is a great size with a nice amount of open area for coloring. I chose to leave mine just plain with no coloring, nice and simple.
The sentiment is from one of my favorite Ippity sets, IPK-143 How You Doin’. That set is just FABULOUS! So many cute sayings and images – great for accenting or making your own background paper!
Supplies:
Ippity Stamps, IPK-143 How You Doin’
Unity Stamps, January 2009 Kit of the Month Love etc.
Tsukineko ink
Hambly transparency

Happy Friday! I’m off today, woohoo!
Are you ready for Black Friday two weeks from now? I’m already seeing specials pop up here and there – how about you?
I have a friend who’s going through a bit of a difficult time lately, so she was the inspiration for this card. The spools and sentiment are from the Unity April 2010 KOTM. The background for the spools and on the yellow are Ippity stamps! (Don’t forget that I’m your Ippity Chick for all the earlier sets!!)
This card is also for Unity Addict Challenge #26. The fairytale that I’m using for inspiration is Cinderella. She would sew and mend her sister’s dresses so well and there was beautiful lace on their garments. Here’s to you Cinderella!
Take a peek, hope you like it.
