Happy Friday and happy LONG weekend! Completely enjoy your extra day off Monday if you have it. I do, yea!
Since Monday is Memorial Day, I wanted to do a rather patriotic card using red, white and blue colors. I’ve had this Daisy D’s paper for quite some time and really like the colors and collaged patterns which happen to be perfect for this card.
The stamping part is quite simple. I used chalk ink for the image since it matched the paper so well. Lots of layers everywhere else using the sketch from this week’s Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge.

Happy Earth Day! Welcome to the weekend!
I have a fun card to share with you today. It’s a little plump birdie mixed with white and navy sophistication.
The birdie and branch were stamped with dye ink onto the white cardstock then punched out. Using a water pen, I touched the brush tip to the ink pad to get some color on it, then colored the wings, belly and leaves. Go light on squeezing the pen to release water. A little goes a long way especially when you’re doing small areas like this. When you’re done, squeeze the pen to get water to flow into the tip and clean the color onto a paper towel.

Hi there Unity and Ippity Friends! Welcome to the hop and to April!
I have a combination Unity and Ippity card for you today. I love star stamps so the Stylin’ Stars Unity set doesn’t disappoint! There are some beautiful stars in there in different sizes and shapes! They’re just perfect for so many occasions.
The Ippity set called Moon Beams and Heart Strings is one of the most popular ones that I sell. Filled with whimsical hearts, stars, moons and wording, I go back to this set many times for any or all of those things! I just love how the red rubber stamps perfectly every time!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? What a great start to it by hopping along FWF!
Unity has a great Kit of the Month program and it’s from these Kits that I create many cards from.
Today’s card uses an image from the October 2009 KOTM “Wherever You Go” and an Ippity set called “Fall for You”. I was able to work in this week’s Play Date Cafe Color Challenge and Ippity Twist Challenge for week 3. It just so happens to fit the All Things Unity #26 Birthday Challenge!
